Des Peres

Des Peres (formerly Old Des Peres) have been doing there thing since 2001. Having released their first album "Preserved" on Shock records in 2004 they have just recently released their second through Flict/MGM. The sample heavy album entitled "Ace Doubt" has already been critically acclaimed in Australia as a completely new take on the electroni/hip hop genre. The bands music and live show have set them in a unique place in the Australian music scene combining elements from turntableism, hip hop techno, pop, jazz, blues and anything else you can steal from to create a truely unique and exciting sound. Their live show is something to behold with the relentless energy of front people Luva DJ and Mr. Ection and Talx matched by the grinding blues riffs flying from Little Toms Guitar and Old Des Sampler and trombone. Des Peres have toured endlessly and have just completed a 16 date tour around Australia to support the release of the new album, before heading over to Europe.
