Hiatus

Ladiesluvhiphop, an all girl crew formed in melbourne in 2004, gave birth to a collabo between Sammie D, Jo Wah See and Doesa. The trio then wrote their first song together named "Speak" under the name CGA. Their debut performance together was at Return of the Bgirl (an all girl extravaganza featuring the first all Bgirls only battle in Australia) in '04 at First Floor. They began doing shows with DJ Smitten at Revolver, The Workshop, e55 and the Big Day Out. Their first gig with Calski on MPC was at The Espy. Since then, Hiatus have been getting up throwin' down & gettin' rowdy with support gigs for The Apostles, TZU, The Equills, Bliss and Eso, Liones and Bacon. Always speaking from real life experience, these emcees always spit with passionate and animated delivery, with Calski laying the foundations of tracks with a dynamic and intense style, Sammie D's recent move to the UK to pursue dance and Bgirl aspirations has left Jo Wah See (Au Crew) and Doesa; who is fresh outta teaching emcee workshops, to hold down the fort with the gusto of emcees who write on the regular to deliver new tracks, and keep up the momentum.
