Artist Profile

Trace Elements

The Gold Coast is a strange place, to an outsider the belief in golden soaked beaches, rich and snooty tycoons, and high rise apartments are all they have ever known. To be honest, beating under this slick exterior is a rich tapestry of young musicians who desperately wish to break free of the stereotypical view of the Gold Coast and its inhabitants.

Trace Elements fits this niche perfectly.

Years of competition with our very own stereotypical views have created a group that goes far beyond normal hip hop expectation. Syntax, Tactic One, Xplane and producer M-Phazes were born of the idea of breathing new life into the trace elements of hip hop music, and thus have created something which is both excitable and mature at the same time.

Trace Elements was born.

Nearly a decade of community support, nearly a decade of building affiliations, and nearly a decade of music has made the Elements highly respected, and left an ever widening wake of fans in their travels.

Having worked with local and international acts such as Supastition, Bliss & Eso, 13th Son, Munshine, Jase, Median, Icon the Mic King, Royce 5’9 and many more, Trace Elements believe that they have what it takes to take their music to the next level. Their professionalism for their music is also transferred to their live performances and the trio have toured with the likes of Bliss N Eso, Supastition, Delta, Phrase & G Unit’s Mobb Deep. Now Trace Elements are looking for the future, and are working on a new LP that is already creating a buzz in the local hip hop scene. Titled “Debut the album will feature production from Mules, North Carolina’s DJ Forge (Forge & Amen) and local Hero M-Phazes.
